Our Bluefield Outdoor Series Knife has a production limit of 2,500 each and is made of D3 Tool Steel. The Bluefield is a full Tang blade with and a Drop Point design with a 0.16 thick spine that makes it an outstanding skinning knife. The handle design provides a comfortable feel and confidence that this knife will get the job done.

You can also purchase the Bluefield with a Walnut and Cherry laminated handle for a little extra money or just a full Walnut or Cherry handle at no extra cost.  As with all of our outdoor series knives there is a small up charge for the deluxe gift box. We do this to keep the cost of our Outdoor Series Knifes as affordable as possible.  

A Collectible Knife Built to Be Used

The Bluefield’s D3 steel is a high-carbon, high-chromium, oil-hardening known for its high hardness and exceptional wear resistance due to its numerous hard carbides.  It features excellent dimensional stability during heat treatment, making it suitable for precision tools where accuracy and longevity are critical. While it offers superior wear properties, it must be carefully tempered after hardening to improve its toughness, as it can be brittle in its as-quenched state. 

The Bluefield Knife has been given and excellent heat treatment that results in an ASTM Rockwell hardness test between 55-59 HRC along the blade edge.  This Outdoor Series knife makes for the ultimate gift for any occasion that can be enjoyed and handed down to future generations.
