The Summerville walnut handle design provides for a secure grip and a well-balanced feel with added index finger protection. Our Summerville is the latest addition to the outdoor series collection.  This knife has a production limit of 2,500 each and is crafted with D3 Tool Steel. The Summerville is Drop point Hunting knife has an overall length of 7 inches.

The Summerville D3 steel contains high-carbon, high-chromium, oil-hardening known for its high hardness and exceptional wear resistance due to its numerous hard carbides.  It features excellent dimensional stability during heat treatment, making it suitable for precision tools where accuracy and longevity are critical. While it offers superior wear properties, it must be carefully tempered after hardening to improve its toughness, as it can be brittle in its as-quenched state. 

The Summerville’s D3 Steel is heat treated and has an ASTM Rockwell hardness test between 57-60 HRC along the blade edge.  This Outdoor Series knife makes for the ultimate gift for any occasion that can be enjoyed and handed down to future generations.
