This hunting knife has a production limit of 2,500 each and is crafted with D2 Tool Steel. The Weirton is a fixed blade Skinner knife with an overall length of 7 inches also making it easy to hide when carrying.  

The handle is Rosewood, that we import and the combined and with the stainless front guard makes it easy and comfortable to grip.

The Weirton D2 steel has a composition of  high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel known for its exceptional wear resistance and edge retention, making it suitable for cutting tools, dies, and industrial knives. 

It’s a semi-stainless material due to its high chromium content (around 10-13%), offering better corrosion resistance than many tool steels but not as much as traditional stainless steels. D2 steel is also characterized by its high hardness, though this makes it more challenging to work and potentially more sensitive to chipping than some tougher steels.  

The Weirton A2 Steel is heat treated, and air cooled that provides an ASTM Rockwell hardness test between 57-60 HRC along the blade edge.
