The Alaskan Huntington

The Huntington runs 10 inches overall with a 5 inch Damascus drop point blade and a 5 inch handle. It is a full size camp and hunting knife, the kind you set on the table and somebody picks up without asking.

The blade is 220 layers of 1095 high carbon and 15N20 nickel carbon. Each layer gets folded and forged, then acid etched to bring the pattern out. Hardness is 59 to 62 HRC, so it takes a fine edge and keeps it.

Walnut handle with a quarter inch Damascus bolster. Walnut is the classic pairing with a patterned blade because it stays quiet and lets the steel do the talking. The rat tail tang keeps the weight forward where you want it on a blade this long.

Production on the Alaska Series is capped at 2,500. Every Country Roads knife carries a user care lifetime warranty, non transferable.
